After the super-secret prank, I went back into my room and played it cool around my family. But eventually, Autumn was the first to find out.
My family found out that I secretly put masking tape on all our family pictures and banned me from tape for a week.
Other then that, my dad said my prank was "weak" and "too predictable" and "too childish".
Coming from the guy that hid in my closet and scared me.
At school, I didn't even try to pull a prank. I just wanted to know if people actually knew that Tuesday was a holiday.
Unfortunately, they didn't even know that that day was April Fools.
Right then and there, I made a pledge to save April Fools. Not this year, nor next year, but one year. People will know, "Blake Bergman: the Person that Saved April Fools."
