Flash Flood

To Inland Empire: As you may have noticed (just by looking outside) today was POURING and we have been having flash floods.

To other counties: The Inland Empire, (where I live) in Southern California has been having some flash floods. If you don't know what a flash flood is, it's when rainfall builds so much, it causes BIG puddles and mudslides.

Don't worry, it's not something serious.
**************************
Today, when I got ready for school, I got a flash flood warning on my TV. I thought it was some kind of monthly test or something so I just ignored it and went through my morning routine.

When I opened the door... Well, this happened:

Yup. This is my last post for February. LET'S BRING IT ON MARCH!

Stick Wars: A New Hope (PARODY POSTER)

I made a parody poster of Star Wars IV: A New Hope and called it "Stick Wars IV: A New Hope" for no reason.

Stickman Adventure: I am having a HARD TIME

Making an RPG game is harder than you think. And I'm not even doing the rules right now! I'm just making the characters you will play in the game. Here is a Level 1 Protector:

The thing I am having trouble with is the stats; I mean, I'm trying to make the Protectors have more health than the other Villagers while having them have less Attack power. See my dilemma?

Also with Brawlers; they are supposed to have more Attack power and less health.

The Wizards are no problem since they are in the middle and have more Magic than Protectors.

Stickman Adventure: Soldier of King Kingerson & Sorcerer's Apprentice

Okay, so I know I sent this an hour ago, but I already made some sketches of the characters.

See, in the game, I'm going to put all the players into 3 groups: Brawlers, Wizards, and Protectors.
Brawlers have more Attack Power and HP (Health Points), Wizards have more Magic and the only characters that can use Spells and use more Potions, and Protectors heal more quickly, use stronger Shields, and they are the only Villagers (characters) that can use Protector-Only Shields on other players.

This is a sketch of a Brawler:

This is a sketch of a Wizard:

There will also be Monsters and Villains in the game; like the Villagers, Monsters are in groups, too. Mythical Monsters, Spiders, and Witches. Each Monster will be a match for the Wizards, Brawlers, and Protectors. The Mythical Monsters will be able to break through Protector-Only Shields and give the Protectors Poison, an attack so powerful, only Protectors can live through it. But don't worry, only Mythical Monsters Level 5+ can do that. Brawlers have a deathly fear of Spiders, when Brawlers come with an encounter with them, Brawlers lose health (from fear) or loses a turn during battle. But don't worry, as Brawlers evolve into new levels, they lose a little bit of fear of Spiders (Level 15, the maximum level, is where the Brawlers aren't afraid of Spiders). Witches are able to steal Potions from all the players, but they can also steal AWESOME Wizard-Only Potions. Witches will also be able to steal Spells from Wizards. But don't worry, once a Witch uses a Spell on you, you can get it back.

This is a sketch of a Mythical Monster:

Note: Stickman Adventure!

I got this idea from Chicken Maker to make my own game. Unlike his Chicken Draw! card game, I want to make an Adventure RPG game, like Dungeons and Dragons!

I should call it...

Or not, the reason is in the subtitle. It COULD be called something else. Until then, Stickman Adventure it is!

Note: West Africa

I was doing my History packet for homework today and one of the questions really took my thought:
Write 3 statements to describe Ghana's king.

That question was very interesting because we are studying West Africa and we learned that West African kings are very powerful- I mean, if you were a king, you were UNSTOPPABLE. You own all the powerful armies, you were very rich and no one could stop you (In West Africa, if you were king, your people would treat you like God).

Those were my answers! I wrote down:

a) They were powerful.
b) They were unstoppable.
c) They were awesome!

I think my teacher will be very proud of me. :)

The Dance *UPDATED*

Last night was the CRAZIEST Friday night EVER!

It started after last night's blog post.

Autumn and I got dropped off at Middle School (that is what I decided to call my school), I was wearing a nice shirt, some dark jeans, and my barely clean high tops. (I just decided to draw the picture as me wearing a tie.)

Autumn looked like a million bucks (Autumn would kill me if I said otherwise). She wore a beautiful black dress with a cute netted leggings and designer flats. (I just decided to draw the picture as Autumn wearing her normal outfit, but with a bigger dress.)

We walked to the M.U. Room (Multi-Use) and saw Mr. Walker, our math teacher, holding a sucker and a fat clipboard with an iPad on it in front of the M.U. Room entrance with the doors open, but with streamers.

He walked up to Autumn.
"For you, Ms. Bergman."
Autumn just stared at the Tootsie-Pop as if it came from outer space. "Thank You."
He turned to me like he was disappointed.
"Your 2 dollars, Blake?"
I pulled out the 5 dollar-bill, that Mom gave me, and handed it to Mr. Walker.
"Thank you Blake, have fun."
We walked in.

We haven't made 5 feet into the dance without 3 of Autumn's friends running to us, shrieking.
"You wore a dress!" One of Autumn's friends yelled.
"I know! I never wear dresses!" Autumn replied.
I walked away from them, uncomfortably, to the dance floor.

Imagine a dark, big room with lights and fun with over 100 kids dancing. That was the M.U. room. (I drew this picture in case you wanted to see the M.U. Room, but with the lights on and the fun off.)

I was bumping into 8th graders, looking for my best friend Alexandria (Alex for short).

After 20 minutes, I gave up looking for my friends. I walked to the wall and just stood there. Watching the fun while I was being a wallflower.

Suddenly, the colored lights turned off and everyone was standing in total darkness.

After 5 seconds, the lights came back on, but instead of colors, they were pink hearts.

All of a sudden, the pop music turned into slow, loving music while the boys and girls were slow-dancing.

I was going to laugh. This all seemed ridiculous, but I still watched.
Suddenly, I hear a voice:
"You should be like those people."
I turned and saw my principal, Ms. Lancaster.
"Well I-"
"Don't give me that 'Well I...' stuff." Ms. Lancaster said, "Let me show you how to slow dance."
Before I could say anything, my principal put my hands on her hips and her hands on my shoulders.
I suddenly realized something:
My first slow dance was with my principal.
I turned purple with embarrassment while Ms. Lancaster was having the time of her life.

We danced in circles forever, I was ready to crawl in a hole and die until my principal said to find a girl.
I took my hands off her hips and I felt super dizzy.
I stumbled to the door that led to the Quad, where my whole life was going to turn upside down.

I finally found my friends and we talked for a while, until this girl yelled "SOMEBODY PLEASE TIE MY SHOES?!!" in a distance.
"OKAY!! I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!" I yelled back.
Don't ask why I volunteered to tie her shoes.
I walked to the girl and totally lost my mind.
She was the most prettiest girl in the whole world.
"Here I am!" I pointed out.
"Great! My feet are right here." She said while pointing to her shoes.
I did what she asked me to.

When I finished, she said something that I never been questioned before:
"Thanks! Now you can dance with me!"
I replied with the most logical response anyone in this situation could have said:

She lead me to the dance floor in the middle of a slow song and we danced (thanks to Ms. Lancaster's help).
It felt nice to have someone finally not kill me.

Do I have a new crush? I don't know.
The only thing I know is that I had my first slow dance.

UPDATE: That girl that I slow-danced with is now ignoring me. Man, it's like, you have a friend then he/she hates you all of a sudden for no reason.

Tell me, why are girls so complicated?

The Flower

Before we moved into a new house in October 2013, we lived in a condo in a bad part of town.
Autumn (or Sister) called it "Condo Apartments" for the 2 years we lived there.

In the second year we lived there our Aunt Jamie died (B-T-Dubs Aunt Jamie didn't lived with us) in September. We were all pretty sad but we moved on, but Autumn didn't.

At the funeral, a man (probably Aunt Jamie's relative) gave Autumn a rose. He said that if Autumn kept the rose, the spirit of Aunt Jamie would still be on Earth. I thought it was a bunch of baloney but Autumn was convinced. She pinned the rose to her wall for months.

After the funeral and Autumn's rose-pinning, Autumn had been hearing noises when she was trying to sleep at night.

Autumn thought the condo was haunted, but then she said Aunt Jamie was trying to communicate with us.
I was about to laugh in her face when she said that, but the look on Autumn's face was so serious. Autumn actually believed Aunt Jamie was trying to talk to us.

Every week after that, Autumn brought Lil Bro and I to try to talk to her.
I was annoyed with it after the first week.
But one week, Autumn was doing the communication thing...

And all of a sudden, a cup by her bed (when Autumn gets thirsty during the night, she drinks water by her bed) fell off and splashed every where.

I was totally convinced Aunt Jamie's spirit was in the flower when that happened.

Eventually, Autumn moved on and threw the flower away (you might think that was rude, but she made an entire ceremony of that). But to this day, I still don't know if I will see the flower again, or whether Aunt Jamie is still watching us.
